Hello, my name is Jack Wright, President of Beta Alpha Psi Xi Gamma Chapter. I am from Prattville, Alabama, home of the historic Daniel Pratt Cotton Gin Mill. I have grown deep roots in central Alabama growing up in Prattville and being a part of my family’s business in Montgomery that is nearly 50 years old. I love the business world and have a great passion for accounting. I work for Jackson Thornton Certified Public Accountants where I handle day to day accounting tasks for several business as well as assisting partners with tax and audit services. Prior to my activity in Beta Alpha Psi, I have had the honor of being the Auburn University at Montgomery (AUM) Accounting Club President, a member of the AUM School of Accountancy Advisory Board, and a member of the AUM College of Business Recruiting Team. Upon graduation, I plan to become a Certified Public Accountant and work locally here at home in central Alabama. I am a huge car enthusiast, so much that I have been racing cars since I was 8 years old and building them since I was 13. I guess it’s not an everyday thing to see an accountant racing cars.

Hello! My name is Tafadzwa Njanike, but most people call me Taffy. I am an International Student from Zimbabwe and currently completing my junior year. Not only am I a member in Beta Alpha Psi, but I am also a member in the Accounting Club, AUMcappella, National Society of Collegiate Scholars, National Society of Leadership and Success – where I am the Student President, and an Accounting/Math tutor at the Learning Center. In my free time I enjoy doing make up, hanging out with friends, singing and dancing. When I graduate I plan completing my CPA, and later on working at Ernest & Young, Deloitte or Grant Thornton in Zimbabwe so I can be closer to my family.

Hi! My name is Abigail Williams, and I am from Phenix City, Alabama. I am a junior here at AUM. I currently work on campus in the Financial Services department, and I am also a Resident Assistant. After college, I plan to obtain my Masters in Accounting and sit for the CPA exam. Through my first three years here at AUM, my parents and AUM’s faculty and staff have been my backbone, supporting me through the highs and lows of college.  And for this I am forever grateful.

Hello! My name is Taylor Patterson, and I am from a small-town called Talladega, Alabama. I am currently a graduate of Auburn University at Montgomery. I obtained my bachelor’s degree in Accounting through AUM and graduated in the Fall of 2020. I am currently enrolled into the Master of Accountancy program at AUM, which is furthering my long-term goal of becoming a Certified Public Accountant. While earning my Masters, I am currently working full-time with a private company in my hometown. My time at AUM has been nothing short of amazing, I am currently an officer in Beta Alpha Psi as the Director of Communications, and I am more than delighted to be able to serve as an officer for the XI Gamma Chapter here at AUM. Before being an officer in Beta Alpha Psi, I was an active member in the Accounting Club in which brought me to applying for Beta Alpha Psi and being inducted the Spring semester of 2020. I am thrilled to be able to prolong my time at AUM and will be honored to receive a master’s degree from there as well. My favorite Bible verse that carries me through each semester is “But as for you, be strong and do not give up, for your work will be rewarded. – 2 Chronicles 15:7”
